Do you find TDEE to be accurate?
I've been maintaining for about a month. I increase my calories every two weeks and am currently averaging 1,500. TDEE calculator gives me 1,700 per day. I'd LOVE to be able to eat that amount. I am very consistent with my exercise and so thought about switching to TDEE. On my rest day using MFP I am allowed fewer calories…

Body frustration after pregnancy. Advice?
My daughter is 8 weeks old. Starting at 2 weeks post partum I started back into running, because I was active my whole pregnancy and my midwife okay'ed it. I only gained 18 pounds during my whole pregnancy. I'm running, doing T25, Pilates, getting at least 10,000 steps a day, eating 2000 calories a day, cutting back on…

Intermittent Fasting/Flexible Dieting
How many of you follow intermittent fasting/flexible dieting? Do you feel it works better than when you eat just your allotted calories/macros whenever you want throughout the day? Trying to decide if its truly a good "diet" plan or if it works more like a placebo affect.

Quick ideas to add protein to breakfast?
I am not a morning person and I don't have time (well the inclination to get up early and make time!) to grill turkey bacon or anything else on a morning. My OH normally makes me a wholemeal bagel and brings it to bed for me because yes I'm spoiled! What can I add to make it more protein-y as I need to get more protein…

Question about "As Prepared" Serving Sizes
Pasta Roni may not be the best thing for me, but it's super easy to make, tasty and an easy way to add some carbs/fat. It is basically the pasta version of rice a roni. My question is with the nutrition facts, as you can see even on the "as prepared" side it still talks about how much 1 serving is dry. That is of no help…

Weight lifting and muscle spasms...
I am getting horrible muscle spasms in my upper body, mostly in my arms and chest. They get so bad that they keep me awake at night. My question is, are there any supplements or anything that I can do to ease the spasms, or stop them completely? Also, how long do others go in between lifting workouts? I love lifting and…

I have pcos and weight has always been an issue for me. But I'm finally taking charge and I've managed to lose 14 lbs in 4 weeks. I'm no where close to where I want to be, but I'm getting there by watching my calories, sugars and carbs as well as working out 5-6 days a week. I've been doing cardio, strength training and…

Having a "cheat day"
Is it ok of you have a "cheat day"? I'm not talking about going completely all out and just over eating. Like having something that may not be healthy for you but in moderation.

Logging - Map my walk v MFP
Have just started to walk to work, 2.5 miles each way.... Logged it on Map My Walk, which has all the same details as MFP. The calories burned on Map My Walk has it as 333 calories, whereas MFP has them as 241. Why the difference? And which do I use? Thanks

Activity level
I just want to make sure I'm picking the correct activity level, but it don't really see them defined anywhere. I have it set at active. 1000 days logged in a row, over 90 pounds lost! [pics]
My name is Alyssa, I am 24 years old, 5'0", and I have been chubby my whole life - this is my story. I was cursed by genetics. My sister and brother grew up skinny while I kept growing up chunkier. Years go by and I'm just gaining weight. My nutrition is horrible, my self-esteem is worse. I'm the "fat friend" that people…
