does anyone have any low sugar snacks that are good to eat to bring your calories for the day up?

  • Nuts and seeds are great if you need to up your calories. Full of good fats too :)

    If you need more calories without eating a lot of food, go for something high in fat (preferably healthy fats). I'd probably eat some peanut butter on toast, or nuts... or dessert, but then again I don't worry much about sugar.

    Alternatively, consider a high calorie beverage of some kind - e.g. a smoothie, or some sort of creamy drink. Will likely have more sugar than the nuts/PB option.
