  • On my Rock playlist I have no heavy metal though

Sick and twisted affair - My darkest days
Going to hell - Pretty Reckless
Murder Mitten - I see stars
I will not bow - Breaking Benjamin
Animal I have become - Three days grace
  • Love me some Metallica and Megadeth! Love "Hook in mouth!" It gets me all pumped up!
  • Funny my favorite one is Walk by...Pantera! But other than that its mostly rap.
  • Mostly thrash during HIIT/cardio, and Black or Death during lifting. No idea why these specific subgenres, but it just works better this way.
  • in flames-touch of red
    rammstein-du hast
    demon hunter-infected
    killswitch engage-rose of sharine
just a few examples. also enjoy bullet for my valentine, comeback kid, slipknot and underoath.
my secret guilty pleasure bands are 30 seconds to mars and linkin park
  • I go mostly old school with Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Venom and the like. I also listen to some newer bands and some that probably fall to the edges of the metal genre.
  • Metal is more my party music so its hard to use for working out lol
But usually it would be some metallica, exodus, lambofgod, shadows fall, slayer, or older inflames
  • In Flames, Five finger death punch, Black label society (older stuff), megadeth, motorhead, machine head, black sabbath, pantara, rob zombie/white zombie (cardio only, it bugs me during strength), cream, skindred....

Saw them in Manchester supporting Trivium in 2011. Ended up drinking with Bjorn Gelotte talking about wah pedals (I'm a guitar player) after the gig in the bar next door!

I have Hatebreed's albums on shuffle for when I'm in the gym. Other than that, various Prong albums, Reign In Blood by Slayer and Kill by Cannibal Corpse are my training weapons of choice.

  • From time to time, Yes! o:)
  • Finntroll - Trollhammaren
Old Man's Child - Black Seeds on Virgin Soil
At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
Carcass - Anything off of the first 3 albums

Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious has been one of my favourite albums for well over 20 years now!
