I'm back after a long recovery from injury

I have gained quite a bit of weight while unable to exercise, but trying to get back in the swing of things, doing strength training (3-4 times per week) and cardio 7 days per week. I have lost about 12 pounds, but have at least 30-40 to go. I am creating a caloric deficit through moderate caloric restriction and exercise. I hope to have this weight off as soon as I can, but also realize I didn't put it on overnight. Cheers.

I can so relate as I, too, am recouping from a year + injury. I am still very limited as to what my PT will allow me to do and am unable to exercise they way I would like. I am in this with you all the way and as you so appropriately stated we didn't gain it overnight ergo will not lose it over night! One day at a time
