Now, 40 minutes later, it's all done and so delicious but I am full after the first couple of bites which makes me mad because it's just so good. The chicken I can save for tomorrow but the roasted potatoes…

Female hormones, cycles and eating too much
I had been so attentive to MFP until 3 days ago when I suddenly didn't care anymore if I went 300-500 calories over my "allowance." Watching myself eat like I was on auto-pilot made me do some research. Here's an article I found that really helped me understand that this kind of crazy eating is more hormonal than I could…

Have fun but don't let Cinco de Mayo derail you
Many people in the US celebrate Cinco de Mayo as a day of indulgence, usually with high calorie foods and alcohol. Many don't even know why the holiday exists, but justifies the party that goes with it. Alcohol plays a big part in it and contributes to your calorie goal. Excess within control. Have fun, but be safe. A.C.E.…

How to do Preacher DB Curls without any equipment besides the Dumbbells themselves.
My problem is that I cannot afford a Preacher Curl bench simply because of my income and minimal apartment space. What could I use to achieve the form of this excercise for a low cost and minimal space.

I'm down 50lbs and looking to help others.
Quick background: About a year and a half ago I was the biggest I had ever been in my life at 250lbs. I was fairly thin all my life but got married, had a kid and you know the rest. I didn't feel comfortable in my body, and I could barely recognize myself in the mirror. I went on like this for a few years until I got sick…

Starting over; this is tough
im not entirely sure why, but I have gone back to my night eating problems. I eat upwards of double what I eat throughout the day after I get in bed. I go to bed, wake up throughout the night, and just can't get myself to stop eating. Until last night, I ate so much that I felt like I wanted to throw up. And I can honestly…

No chips, crackers, or fried food and still can't keep my sodium down!
I have completely cut out foods that are known for high sodium. I rarely put salt in my foods, and when I do I use very little. Yet I always seem to go way over my sodium goals. What can I eat to get this down? Is anyone else staying within their goal and if so what do you eat and not eat? I'm starting to feel like it's an…

Weight of pasta
for dinner last night I had spaghetti (using penne noodles). I cooked a 500g bag and the serving size is 100g. When it was finished I weighed a serving at 100 grams and it didn't seem like much but I ate it anyway. When I put away leftovers I decided to weigh what was left over and it weighed in at 787g (my husband had a…
